Entrepreneurs
Running a business brings a multitude of demands, from core compliance to planning long-term growth. Our portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses is wide ranging in both size and structure, from private companies and family businesses, to partnerships, sole traders and LLPs with UK and overseas interests.
Growing with you, from start to finish
Whilst each company has its own particular priorities and challenges, our entrepreneurs are united in their drive and ambition. We support them through the life cycle of their business, adapting our support to their stage – from start-up, through managed growth and any acquisitions, to maturity and eventual planned exit.
With clients in industries from arts and professional services to luxury retail, advice is extensive, including day to day accounting, cash flow management, VAT and wider tax planning. Retaining and rewarding key staff is key, as is structuring the way in which property is held; strategic consultancy helps owners to devise and execute a realistic growth plan.
We are always here as a sounding board, interested and invested from the very beginning.
I have a lot of clients who’ve been with me since they were young. I’ve held their hands in some ways, helping them to make the big decisions and better their companies. We’ve become friends.

Considering all financial & tax aspects
While many of our client’s businesses are under the audit threshold, we collaborate closely with the Corporate Division where a statutory audit is required or there are international considerations. We also partner with the Private Client Division on cash extraction and the personal tax needs of directors and family businesses, which often includes property and non-residency issues.
Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) Schemes: Potential Business Benefits
An Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) scheme can be an effective way for entrepreneurial businesses to attract and retain talented employees. While competitive salaries and bonuses remain important, many employers opt to incentivise key team members further by giving them a genuine stake in the future success of the business.
