Gavin Lenthall

I started my career at KPMG and have worked in senior business and private client tax advisory roles for over 30 years. After joining SRLV in 2012, I became a Partner and specialise in high-level tax advice and financial management support for wealthy individuals, families and owner managed businesses.

From entrepreneurs and successful professionals, to family offices, trusts and non-domiciles, my clients have extensive, often global, business, property and investment interests, which require wide-ranging tax compliance and advisory support.

Typically, I act as a client’s financial confidant and I am working as an extension of their in-house financial team, alongside their bank, financial advisor, or family office, trustees and executors. I oversee every aspect of their wealth to maximise their tax efficiency, meeting them regularly and advising them on all of their financial decision-making throughout the year.

Where possible, I work closely with their financial advisors to ensure clients receive integrated tax, wealth and financial planning advice. I have particular expertise in wealth structuring and succession planning, which can prove hugely valuable to clients. Along with others in our team, I’m also qualified to act for clients on probate and estate matters and, given my in-depth knowledge and understanding of their financial affairs which can span many decades, I’m often the advisor who’s best placed to do so.
