About Grant

After starting my career in the mid-nineties with BDO and qualifying in audit, I joined SRLV in 2004 and moved to the music and entertainment team a year later, which has been my home ever since.

Since then, I’ve worked with a huge variety of music industry clients; from award-winning songwriters, producers, recording and performing artists, to artist managers, booking agencies, music publishers and independent record companies. I also support other creative professionals and business clients, including actors, sports professionals, TV personalities and creative design agencies.

I believe the three most important advisors for any music artist or creative business are the artist’s manager, lawyer and accountant. A vital part of my work is nurturing these relationships and the client’s trust to give them the right support as they build their careers and businesses.

Many of my clients have international tax exposure and rely on the team and me to manage their day-to-day accounting, royalties and withholding taxes, as well as advise them on new business set ups and contracts. They need us to be all-round financial advisors and business managers.

As someone who’s always gone to gigs and festivals, I feel lucky to be working in an industry that I’m passionate about. I am proud when a client achieves success; whether that’s seeing an artist breakthrough, release great music, or just enjoy doing what they love.

The three most important advisors for any music artist or creative business are the artist's manager, lawyer and accountant. A vital part of my work is nurturing these relationships and the client's trust.
