Held over three days in the picturesque town of Podivín, Czech Republic, the competition brought together 16 young professionals from the ETL Global network. Participants were grouped into cross-border teams and tasked with solving a real-world professional services challenge. Each team included a mix of lawyers, accountants, and tax experts, reflecting the collaborative nature of the industry.

Isabel was part of Team Green, alongside professionals from Bulgaria, Poland, and the Netherlands. Together, they developed and presented to a panel of ETL Global partners, on the subject of how lawyers and accountants could work together to make the most out of the EU UBO regulations. After a tough competition, they emerged victorious.

“It was a really fun few days in the beautiful Czech countryside,” Isabel shared. “Our hosts were fantastic, the food and drink were brilliant, and we even managed to fit in a go-karting session to unwind after our presentations!”

The ETL GLOBAL Future Stars competition is more than just a showcase of skill, it’s a platform for young professionals to gain international recognition, build global networks, and develop the key skills that will shape their future careers. The competition was launched successfully in 2024 and was even bigger and better this year.
