Isabel Stanley

I am a Manager in the Corporate team, where I work with entrepreneurial businesses in the Entertainment, Theatre, Real Estate and Music sectors. 

I joined SRLV in August 2017 within the graduate programme intake. I have since completed my ACA qualification and progressed to Manager. During this time, I also had the opportunity to take a sabbatical to travel, to experience different cultures and challenge myself in new ways. 

My day-to-day role includes running audits and providing technical assistance to clients. One day I could be working with a record label, the next a theatre production and the next a property business; every day is diverse and refreshing.  

The nature of my job means that we may have seen a particular accounting treatment many times over, but to our client this may be completely new. We are, therefore, well placed to share our expertise and provide tailored advice to their particular case, helping to optimise operations and the general running of their business. Each client has different needs and requirements, which offers opportunities to discover, problem solve and expand my expertise. 

I enjoy working at SRLV for several reasons. I have a great team, they’re friendly and supportive. Our clients are varied, which keeps my job fun and interesting. The office is very sociable, with a fresh supply of fruits and sweet treats in the kitchen an added bonus. It’s a great environment to be a part of.
