NAVIGATING THE GLOBAL PROPERTY MARKET
With 35-years of dealing in the fast-moving London and international real estate markets behind us, we advise an ever expanding portfolio of private investors, funds, developers, property companies, partnerships, premium estate agents, and management companies in the residential and commercial property sectors.
Whether it’s the impact of market shifts, economic trends or world events, we’re always thinking ahead to add value and help clients maximise their returns. Over the years, we’ve become specialist advisors to multi-nationals entering the UK market and UK businesses expanding overseas. We also work closely with owner managed businesses (OMBs) and family trusts when they’re looking to buy or sell properties, or restructure their companies.
CLOSELY INVOLVED THROUGHOUT ALL STAGES
We have expertise across all of the taxes which apply to residential and commercial property transactions in the UK, including income and corporation tax, capital gains tax, stamp duty land tax, capital allowances and VAT. We also specialise in niche areas of tax for non-domiciles, non-residents, and on shore and off shore Trusts.
Dividing assets between family members, succession or estate planning, can be complicated so we tend to be closely involved in clients’ decision making early on. This includes advice on selecting the most appropriate and tax efficient structures and sources of finance, as well as guiding them throughout all the stages of the property transaction process.
Often a client comes to us asking for general advice; it could be that they don’t know whether to sell or retain a property, or they have some money to invest. We help them to evaluate all their options for the best outcome.
