Stephen Cornford

After several years working for accountancy firms outside London, I joined SRLV in 2007 and became a Partner in our Creative division in 2017. I work with a diverse portfolio of creative entrepreneurs and their businesses across the entertainment industry, including music, digital, publishing, film, television, theatre, the Arts and galleries.
I advise clients on all aspects of their business accounting and finances, and have extensive experience of working ‘in-house’ for clients and heading up internal finance teams.

I also have particular expertise in helping start-ups and growing businesses to choose the right financial systems and set ups, as well as advising on digital services and their international tax implications.

Typically, I look after clients with complex requirements providing a high-level strategic view of their structures, tax planning and processes. I am proactively involved, working as part of their financial team and alongside SRLV’s tax, payroll and audit specialists, to ensure that all aspects of my clients’ accounting and finances are being considered and managed effectively. I’m also their point of call if they have a question, or need peace of mind.

We care about our clients and put the time in to ask the right questions for them. Personally, I think it’s what sets us apart as advisors. I’ve worked with the majority of my clients for many years, throughout their growth and success.
