Graduate Programme - Shine as an individual

ACA training provides an exceptional foundation for any business career. Each year we select a cohort of graduates and final year students to join our highly sought after Audit Training Programme. You’ll be immersed in our world and guided by our supportive team, working with some fascinating clients – from entrepreneurial businesses to international groups, spanning restaurants, luxury retail, tech, music, entertainment and more.

Life at SRLV

Based in contemporary open plan offices in London’s vibrant West-End, our working environment is varied and engaging but nurturing too. Our 300 strong team, with over 20 languages between them, is diverse and inspiring. You’ll make friends, gain industry knowledge and learn new skills, but you’ll also kick-back and have some fun too; we’re a pretty social bunch.

We value unique traits and strengths. We see everyone as individuals, shaping our graduate application process to find the right character fit for our team, not just the best number crunchers around. Over four years, we help you to hone your technical skills and achieve your ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification, as well as building belief in yourself and exploring your interests, so you can decide where to take your career next and where you’d like to specialise.

We support you to progress in ways that work for you; to become the professional you want to be and the trusted advisor our clients need. Freedom to be yourself and feel you belong.

Your Training & Development

Guided and mentored through your studies over four years by a technically excellent team, you’ll progress from Junior to Senior with rewards to match. In our engaging but supportive learning environment, no two days will be the same.

You’ll finish as an exceptional auditor but more than that, you’ll know what makes a business tick; you’ll understand its systems and appreciate the complexities, the risks and the people running it. We believe the audit pathway will equip you with the strongest foundation of technical and practical expertise for any accountancy or business career. We also hope that, like many of the ACA graduates here, you’ll be inspired to stay with us as an auditor, or explore the opportunities qualified staff have to move into other specialist areas, such as Tax or Business Management

.

Graduate Pathway

Your mental and physical well-being matters to us. We know that studying and working can be challenging at times, plus a lot can change in your personal life, which is why we’ve extended our programme to four years. This gives you the highest chance of completing your qualification to the best of your ability without unnecessary pressure.  There is no single career path at SRLV, so for those looking to fast-track their ACA graduate programme to three years, there is an option to do this.

We take a flexible approach so that you can work through your exams at your own pace. Trainees also benefit from hybrid working arrangements, including days in the office, at college, from home and at clients’ offices, as well as paid study leave.

Studying Audit is an excellent way to understand business. With this technical knowledge you can look at what makes a business tick and encourage it to be exceptional.

My interviewers looked beyond whether I had a financial background and were interested in me as an individual and where I wanted my career to go.

It can get very competitive when you’re a trainee at larger firms in terms of what exam results you get and the hours you work. It’s not like that here; we encourage each other to do well and everyone has a life outside work.
