Payroll & HR

A business’s greatest asset is its people, but for staff to truly thrive, it’s vital to have professionally managed payroll and HR, ensuring the right employment policies and procedures are in place, whilst avoiding potentially costly pitfalls.

Creating workplaces for people & businesses to thrive

We support more than 300 employers of all sizes with a full range of payroll compliance and HR support, shaping a service to meet their needs as their companies grow and evolve.

Whether it’s enhancing HR policies and procedures, staff recruitment, or end to end management of Pay As You Earn (PAYE) for employers, the pragmatism, commercial knowledge and technical expertise we bring inspires confidence; helping clients to make the right decisions quickly and efficiently, whilst freeing up their time to focus on other areas.

Working in collaboration with our creative, corporate and owner managed business (OMB) divisions, we input regularly on a wide range of strategic payroll and employment issues, ensuring clients benefit from fully integrated strategic financial and HR advice; from recruitment strategies for high growth start-ups and secondment schemes for expatriate employees to succession planning and incentivising key staff.

We always have an eye on the bigger picture, pre-empting potential issues and monitoring legislative changes to ensure clients are best placed to protect their interests, as well as capitalise on financial opportunities, whilst supporting them with high level HR decisions throughout the year. Key to the personalised service we provide is that clients can access our advice and support when they need it – we are always available to assist and answer questions they have or advise on any payroll or HR matter for peace of mind.

'In-house' payroll & HR support for overseas employers in the UK

Each business has its own unique structure, personalities and particular priorities. We adapt our approach to suit each client, working alongside them throughout the life of their businesses to ensure that all aspects of their payroll and HR are being carefully considered and managed as efficiently as possible.

Having the right employment contracts in place, supported by clear and concise staff handbooks to set out practical and compliant HR policies and procedures, can make a real difference to motivating clients’ staff and increasing productivity, whilst protecting their interests as employers.

We have extensive expertise on the payroll and employment issues relevant to ambitious, growing businesses, including strategies to recruit the right staff, benchmark salaries and benefits, manage risk, and deal with high level HR matters effectively by making the right commercial decisions.

We have particular expertise in recruiting and training in-house finance teams, as well as supporting overseas companies and groups looking to expand in the UK. Additionally, many of our creative clients have complex PAYE compliance and advisory requirements, covering international tax consultancy and withholding taxes, which is one of our many specialist areas.

We provide full ‘in-house’ payroll support, managing all aspects of clients’ Pay As You Earn (PAYE) compliance according to the latest regulatory requirements, and liaising with HMRC on their behalf, whilst handling all payslip administration, if required.

Whether it’s preparing and filing Full Payment Submissions (FPS), meeting the requirements of auto-enrolment, or advice on directors’ remuneration, shares and dividends, we ensure clients are fully compliant and operating as tax efficiently as possible.
