I’ve been with SRLV for just over a decade and am a consultant for all areas of the creative arts industries, together with real estate, as well as Rights Management for actors, artists, producers and song writers.
Having such a variety of clients means I have in-depth knowledge to provide all round advice. My clients have wide-ranging issues involving everything from Rights Management, property, IHT, international tax and pensions – I am here to talk them through any kind of life changes as their careers progress.
As a lifelong music fan and manager of a music company, I understand the intricacies of the business, and am always thinking a step ahead. Knowing the music industry inside out means that I bring a wealth of valuable experience to my clients and can give advice on all aspects of business management when it comes to handling their music, including the complexities of recording and publishing rights and their touring activities. They can trust me to make sure they’re maximising their income, especially when it comes to international tax issues.
Through getting to know my clients, both new and established, I become integral to their management team, as well as their day-to-day financial operations.
In my spare time, I watch both grass roots and professional football and I love rummaging around charity and record shops, collecting rare and interesting records. I also manage a music company and an independent property business. Part of what I value so much about working with SRLV is that my role brings together so many of my interests and passions – my hobbies inform my job, and vice versa. As one of my clients says, ‘We rock until we drop’.
