Danny Fletcher

I joined the SRLV Royalties team in 2009, and was appointed Head of the Royalties Department in 2013, a dedicated function for this highly specialist area. Since then, I’ve worked with a huge variety of clients – my portfolio covers everyone from writers to artists, performers and producers who are at the very top of the music industry.

In the creative industries, I think there are three vital advisors: managers, lawyers and accountants. I see my role as advising on the knowledge gaps that sit in-between all 3. Throughout the course of my career, I’ve gained particular expertise in setting up independent record labels and publishing companies for royalty distributions.

Clients also benefit from my wide range of experience in more expert assignments, such as royalty audits; multi-million pound catalogue valuations and acquisitions; royalty contract negotiations and interpretation; neighbouring rights registration and various niche royalty analysis projects. Each has its own particular challenge and aspect which my clients may well be unfamiliar with. It’s fair to say I know the music business inside and out!

As such, I enable my clients to navigate complex, varied issues as straightforwardly as possible to ensure they receive everything to which they’re entitled.
