About Jessica

I’ve worked in accounting for over twenty years, including four and a half years at Joan Hudson & Co, which was acquired by SRLV in 2023. I’m a Manager in the Creative division, working mainly with music artists.

I specialise in year-end accounts and year-end tax – however, whilst I was at Joan Hudson & Co, I also gained valuable experience in payroll and tour accounting. As my clients are often operating internationally, I have experience with the challenge of global year-end accounting, which includes dealing with the US tax system. Joining the much larger, highly specialist music team at SRLV means that whenever there’s a query, or an issue arises, there’s always a colleague who can share their expertise.

As a huge music and film fan, I feel very privileged to have built a career in the entertainment industry. Working through the Covid pandemic with my clients gave me a completely new perspective on their businesses; having built long-standing relationships with them, it was not only rewarding to support them through that tough time, but also to see them returning so successfully. I love going to gigs – especially through my clients, where I get a 360¡ view of everything that I work on; going ‘behind the scenes’ at venues such as the O2 is always a thrill.

As my clients are often operating internationally, I have experience with the challenge of global year-end accounting, which includes dealing with the US tax system.
