As HR Director, my role is to support and empower our people to thrive, both individually and together. SRLV was founded with a family business ethos, so while today it has 180 partners and colleagues, service excellence to our clients remains vital to us. We also strive to provide a happy, nurturing environment for our people.
The HR team and I work across the business, overseeing a wide variety of tasks, that include everything from day-to-day queries and new staff inductions, to talent acquisition, graduate and senior level training, team management and internal communications.
People are our greatest asset and I work closely with the firm’s Executive Committee to ensure we are rewarding their investment in us and developing their skills. We encourage people to become specialists in areas that interest them. We take equality and inclusion very seriously and have a diverse workforce, where respect and fairness comes first.
Seeing my colleagues progress in their careers and deliver for clients gives me such reward. I enjoy identifying ways that we can improve processes to enable colleagues to perform at their highest level.
So many of those who work at SRLV describe it as being like a family and have been with us for many years; I want to continue to make the firm a dynamic workplace where people want to stay and build their careers with us for the long-term.
