Neil Gillam

I was a partner in a well-known firm for over 30 years and joined SRLV in 2019. Having worked both in practice and in industry, I am able to balance my technical knowledge with practical application of the law in a structured, cost-effective manner.

I specialise in advising high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and Owner Managed Businesses across a wide variety of sectors, including entertainment, hospitality, fashion, real estate, manufacturing, and advertising and marketing. Along with the team, I work with clients on tax, both UK and international, including corporate and personal as well as trust tax, and financial reporting. I act in a non-executive director role for companies and provide advice on corporate governance, amongst other matters.

I have a wealth of experience in corporate advisory work, providing transaction support in acquisitions and disposals of enterprises.
Outside work, I follow most sports and am a keen golfer. I also love reading, doing The Times crossword and travel – I am especially interested in other cultures, and I believe this gives me an added perspective to offer to our clients as their businesses and interests change and expand.

I am a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation.
